About me

Who am I?

My name is Pieter Belmans, math student (and computer scientist, according to my degree in CS, but I didn’t consider myself one hence the career change). My interests are LaTeX, music, mathematics, theoretical computer science and literature (mostly American postmodernism). I am an avid classical guitar player and I study musical theory (harmony, counterpoint, analysis).

What do I do?

I study mathematics at Ecole Polytechnique and Université Paris-Sud 11, last year of Master’s. I am mostly interested in algebraic geometry. And I am the developer behind the Stacks project.
